MANIFESTO CASA. TRANSPORT CONTAINER WITH BUILT and pallets
Casa de 160m2 interior divided into two floors. James and Mau Design for Infiniski .
The construction system operates on a modular, prefabricated in workshop to limit transportation costs and pollution on site. The modular system allows the consideration of full implementation of the integrated home fast and consistent possible extensions if the client's space needs will change over time.
The structure consists of three shipping containers reused. A container divided into two separate parts in turn serves as structural support for the two containers on the first floor. This structure shaped porch creates a space "inter-container" which gives an extra surface, so that with only three containers (90m2) are obtained 160m2. This massively reduces the use of material. In turn, the gantry is moved slightly by hand to create outdoor terrace with use. The house "dressing and undressing" in summer and winter using a Solar revestimientol transventilado both façades and roofs (air chamber separation between coating and front / cover container). He dresses with revestimientol summer sun protection, creating a natural cooling effect liabilities. Takes off her clothes in winter to allow the incidence of the sun either on the plate of the container or on the windows and create a natural heating effect liabilities.
Two kinds of coating on the facade: one based on horizontal wooden slats fixed and a mobile pallets that can be opened individually to control solar radiation. The surface of the cover is a removable mesh slight seasonal the year. The coating also serves as aesthetic finish that is integrated into its rural surroundings.
Pergolas, to control the entry of direct sunlight through the windows. In the winter you raise the maximum to allow entry of the sun and stretched over a greenhouse effect inside. In summer, fall more or less depending on time of day and outdoor temperature for a natural ventilation effect.
The inner enclosure is made of recycled cellulose insulation projected onto the inside of the container veneer panels and finished with organic cellulose fiber and gypsum.

That project so interesting. Not only is remarkable for sea containers and recycled cellulose insulation. The pallets used are some of the most interesting thing I've seen as to how to re-load this rich material discarded. Beautiful and simple, painted white and screwed to the sheet.
