DECORATE WITH CARDBOARD TUBE. Inside shop

The Japanese office design   Suppose, have used cardboard tubes (biodegradable material) for the project "Karis (store inside a shopping mall located in Hiroshima). They have placed the tubes randomly irregular surfaces creating arch forms (the concept is based on the caves ) that divided the store in different environments.

Shipping containers as housing support could DISASTER IN HAITI

The idea of using shipping containers as housing in areas struck by disasters is not new, but until now was only an idea. That idea is possible thanks to SEED a group of researchers at Clemson University. The team was working since Hurricane Katrina, developing a plan to deploy the shipping containers and turn them into houses especially in the Caribbean region in the event of a hurricane, when a few days ago received the news about the disaster in Haiti.

Now the group is working double time to try to launch your project and help the earthquake victims. The SEED project for emergency housing involves the use of shipping containers that are strong enough to withstand hurricanes and seismic activity. Estructrura made impressive cases of beer. V + "vers plus de bien être" are the authors to make this magnificent interior, during the exhibition to commemorate the Belgian Expo '58.
A pity they have not done thinking about the environment. But it is an incredible second life for crates of beer!

But German artists Wolfgang Winter and Berthold Hörbelt have used recycled milk cartons and containers in its buildings since 1992. This was built in Castleford in Crate Britain in 2006. Continue Reading »

House 160m2 interior divided into two floors. James and Mau Design for Infiniski.
The construction system functions based on a modular design, prefabricated in workshop would help to limit transportation costs and pollution on site. The modular system allows the complete realization think the house integrating rapid and consistent possible extensions if the customer space requirements will change over time.

Eliphante is much more than an ecological house is a work of art itself. Built by Michael Kahn Leda Livant in Cornville, Arizona, United States in 1978, has 28 years, as an example of how to live green. In its construction through the years have only used their own materials found in landfills, beaches, roads, etc..
