Piet Hein has given them a second life to the shades of antique lamps on the Milan Design Week 2010 , to create new forms of crystal chandeliers. The recycled glass shades are placed in the center of metal rings by various formats, vertical and circular.

Cookware SCULPTURE. SECOND LIFE OF EVERYDAY OBJECTS

It is always exciting to see works of art made from everyday objects, and even more if the objects used, probably would be in the trash if not reused in a creative way. These wonderful sculptures are the creations of sculptor Sayaka Kajita Ganz made from kitchen utensils and other discarded objects that inspire us to think twice about a series of objects that would normally throw away.

Sayaka was born in Japan and now lives and works in Indiana, compares the reuse of objects to her experiences growing up in different countries: I find discarded items from the homes of the people and give them a second life in a new home. Theo Jansen creates living sculptures from recycled one main element that resembles the gait of an animal, and it moves on land by the kinetic energy.
Jansen argues that "the barriers between art and engineering exist only in our minds."


Theo Jansen may be a name known to some but for the most part, it is not. We believe that valuable ability to make art a sustainable activity, I present to enable them to publicize their work.
Jansen is an artist and kinetic sculptor who was born in Scheveningen, the Netherlands, in 1948, and currently resides in Holland.

RECYCLED PAPER COSTUMES. CARNIVAL 2010

Students at Strode College of Art and Design Creative department apparel and fashion have chosen in their designs for recycling cartons. The project was held at a catwalk where students exhibited models of their creations. Original green recycled cardboard creations which can give us ideas for fun costumes octopus, shark, Guerrero and embellished evening dresses.

This year, Christmas can be as easy as bending birch tree eco-certified and decoration with wooden balls, angels and animals.
With the purchase of timber trees, the manufacturer, plant five new trees!

When Anne Paso designer founded the company Lovi , its main objective was to work with sustainable materials and support local production. Both the trees and the Christmas decorations are locally produced Lovi in Finland from PEFC-certified wood from the northern forests.

The fact that the products are not mounted, not only reduces the impact of transport, but also allows us to easily store and use the tree year after year without the use of tools.
